Electric surfboards have become quite the popular watertoy, allowing even novice surfers thrilling rides. Awake, one of the leading manufacturers, has what it considers the perfect fit for adrenaline junkies, the RÄVIK S 22.
With a top speed of 36 mph, the board can accelerate from zero to 30 reportedly in just four seconds. Additionally, Awake says the RÄVIK S 22 responds to your commands to do turns or tricks in two one-hundredths of a second. This is faster than any of its other models, too. You still get a stable surfboard to stand upon. Plus, after 15 to 20 minutes of riding, you can recharge the battery for more fun later in the day.
You can learn more about this fun toy in this month’s edition of the MegayachtNews.com newsletter. Sent on a subscriber-only basis, it includes news not featured here on our daily site. For example, we shine a spotlight on how more and more builders and brokers are accepting crypto as payment. In fact, Dynamiq recently announced it’s taking crypto for its full line of megayachts. This may very well make it the only builder doing so. We further share news from Baglietto about its DOM133 series. Furthermore, we share how one of the most famous megayachts in the world, Graceful, departed quickly following a refit. Headlines recently about her all claim she belongs to Vladimir Putin. Therefore, you may know what her destination was.
