On any given day, superyacht owners and guests are indulging in fun on-water activities. There’s stand-up paddleboarding, for instance, along with kayaking and cruising to the beach and back via tender. While sneakers are okay for hitting the beach, they’re generally not suited to watersports. That’s why you see Sperry’s famous footwear (a.k.a. boat shoes) on a lot of feet no matter which side of the Atlantic you spy the yachts. Sperry has just released its Sperry Sport collection to better address the needs of active watersports enthusiasts like you.
You can read about this six-style Sperry Sport collection in the latest edition of the MegayachtNews.com newsletter. Sent on a monthly, subscription-only basis, it contains news you won’t find here on our daily updated site.
For example, we tell you about how a well-known explorer yacht, Seawolf, is undergoing an extensive refit. Currently, she’s at Pendennis in the UK. The owners selected the shipyard after cruising the coast two years back. They had a strong impression after further visiting the facilities, too. Additionally, we share news of Azimut receiving a prestigious award from the National Marine Manufacturers Association and Boating Writers International. (Here’s a hint: We published a “Megayacht News Onboard” feature on the yacht in question.)
