While some of her lines are softer than those of her predecessors, raked pilothouse windows still hint at the long-range voyages she’s intended to support. The newest Nomad 101 yacht should be ready to test that range in just a few months, having just launched.
Nomad Yachts, a brand under the Gulf Craft group, focuses on families seeking ways to extend their time together on the water. Simultaneously, the goal is to open the door to more diversity in enjoying that time. The Nomad 101 yacht has a trideck arrangement, for instance. That’s unusual for a 99’6” (30.34-meter) megayacht, providing far more social space. A built-in transom benchseat invites guests to take in the views closer to the water, or keep an eye on young swimmers. Since fishing is a preferred pastime for customers in its home waters of the United Arab Emirates and Americans, the benchseat is also a good way to look for the big one that will bite.

Nomad Yachts has modified the LOA and features since the first hull launched in 2023. The above-mentioned length is just one example. Additionally, starting with this hull, styling and interior design is by Phathom Studio, which collaborates with sister brands like Majesty Yachts. There’s more emphasis on the indoor-outdoor lifestyle, while still preserving shaded and enclosed areas.
Phathom Studio further strove for an aesthetic that catches the eye without shouting for attention. The design throughout the interior—accommodating a party of 10—is soft and subdued. Tactile elements add visual interest and let guests know the design isn’t too precious. Notably, Phathom Studio prioritizes as many natural materials as possible for this Nomad 101 yacht’s décor. Flax, hemp, bamboo, and reclaimed wood (the latter for soles) fit the bill. Each of these is also durable. Additional items such as carpeting made from recycled fishing nets, bio-based lacquer and vegan leather, and composite stone surfaces using recycled materials are aboard.

Since outfitting continues and sea trials will follow as well, the owners should take delivery early next year.
