To find a main-deck master suite on a megayacht, you need to look at the 100-foot-plus marketplace. Pearl Yachts and its design partners don’t think that’s good enough anymore, however. The Pearl 82 yacht, a new model, therefore has a main-deck owner’s stateroom, along with other benefits typically reserved for bigger boats.
Capable of sleeping a party of 10, the Pearl 82 yacht promises to be a big-volume 83-footer (25.3-meter). The beam is especially noteworthy, 20’8” (6.34 meters). They come within a raised-pilothouse design that additionally includes walkaround decks.
While the main-deck master is a pleasant surprise, so, too, is the cozy, private alfresco terrace just forward. In fact, owners can access it straight from their stateroom (top), up a few steps through a sliding-glass door. They additionally can reach it from the flying bridge, which has steps leading down.

Because the private terrace is in proximity to the main foredeck lounging/sunning area, the Pearl 82 yacht encourages together time as a family or with friends. The lounging/sunning area is just forward of the flying-bridge dining area, with a bar. Fully aft, meanwhile, yet another sunpad joins with a hot tub, although you can request freestanding furnishings. You further can request biminis for shade and take advantage of the louvered section within the hardtop for the same.
To enjoy the wide-open vistas while inside, meanwhile, the saloon is the place to be. Featuring a dining area as well as a bar, it also has floor-to-ceiling glass. Cutouts in the bulwarks maximize your views. Conveniently, the galley (and all crew access) is to port, making meal and drinks service simpler.
Making your ownership experience better, Pearl Yachts and interior designer Kelly Hoppen offer three design packages. They’re the same themes as other Pearl projects: Indulgence, Luxury, and Modern. Hoppen says the materials and joinery reflect intricate details but don’t distract regardless of package from the sense of being at sea. “What I wanted was a place that could be anywhere,” she explains. “It could be New York, it could be Paris, it could be London. It doesn’t matter, and you feel that you are just floating, which is exactly what you are.”

Further choices are available for the aft-deck arrangement. With Riviera, aft-facing sunpads complement a table and settee. The Veranda layout, meanwhile, incorporates pivoting seating, yet always with the water in your line of sight. Both also include fold-down bulwarks and a garage for a RIB, a PWC, and other toys.
Finally, a few engine choices should ensure quick work of island hopping. All are from MAN engines, with top speeds varying from 28 to 33 knots.
