If ever a name embodied the yachting spirit, the newly launched Rossinavi yacht No Stress Two surely nails it. This hybrid-powered project lowered into the water for the first time this week, following her official christening ceremony. Notably, she’s Rossinavi’s first superyacht to leverage artificial intelligence (AI).

Specifically, the all-aluminum yacht uses AI for monitoring electric power consumption. No Stress Two can rely not only on MTU diesels, but also on an entirely separate, second electric-propulsion system. Firstly, she has a traditional twin-diesel-engine and twin-diesel-genset arrangement. Secondly, she has twin electric motors with power from a battery pack. This allows her the flexibility to operate in five operational modes, including all-diesel and all-electric. When in the latter, AI manages the power flow. “Artificial intelligence allows you to enjoy the electric experience onboard to the fullest,” says Federico Rossi, Rossinavi’s COO. “We are very proud to launch our very first BluE project,” he adds, referring to the name the yard uses for the more environmentally friendly propulsion technology. (Look for its next iteration aboard the Rossinavi Sea Cat 40, too, launching in 2024.)
The propulsion system complements a fast-displacement hull form from the shipyard, which together pair with sporty styling. The owner of the 164-footer (50-meter) tapped Enrico Gobbi – Team for Design for the exterior looks. Based in Venice, Italy, the studio borrowed elements from famous automobiles, lending leanness and the essence of speed to the profile of the yacht No Stress Two. “I wanted the boat to be in motion even when it is at anchor,” explains Enrico Gobbi. He especially calls attention to the long curves and the svelte wing stations, which he modeled after jet wings. He further calls her “a grand coupe of the sea.”

Although full details are not yet available, the interior design incorporates architectural and automotive details, too, within an overall minimalistic ambience. A party of 10 can stay onboard, further enjoying indoor-outdoor areas throughout her decks, down to the waterline.
