Yacht owners who admire Italian style flock to Paola Lenti for the designer’s interior and outdoor furnishings. Similarly, they appreciate the studio’s emphasis on color and contemporary style. The new collection builds on those roots, with a decided emphasis on being more environmentally minded, too.
In fact, the studio has sought out outdoor fabrics that are certified as being recyclable. Additionally, Paola Lenti is incorporating woods recovered from rivers, some sitting beneath the surface for hundreds of years. Sand, gravel, and other natural materials lend individual texture and aesthetic appeal.
We tell you more about the Paola Lenti collection, which includes the Agio sofa above, in the May edition of the Megayacht News newsletter. Sent out to subscribers on a monthly basis, it contains news and information not included here on our website. For instance, this month we ask for your opinion on the recent acquisitions and mergers in the megayacht market. There’s been more activity over the past five years than the past three decades. The question is, is it eliminating consumer choice, or is it simply a smart business move?
We also bring you news about Lighthouse Point Marina’s new ownership, Damen Yachting’s investment in fuel-cell technology, and the latest The Yacht Law Podcast episode.
