This 37-foot (11.4-meter) tender is in Maine waters, but she’s heading to a European shipyard soon. She’s joining her mothership, under construction, ahead of taking the owners and guests to and from anchorages in comfort. This is the latest Hodgdon Tenders limousine tender created in collaboration with Michael Peters Yacht Design.

The tender specifically is one of Hodgdon’s 11.4-meter Limousine models. With an aft helm, it has interior accommodations for a total of 15 people. Of course, air conditioning and custom outfitting characterize this launch, as is always the case with Hodgdon Tenders. This includes the flush anchor, a signature and custom-made Hodgdon piece of equipment. Nearly all of the stainless steel detailing came from the builder’s own craftspeople as well. Additionally, the owners chose the leather seating seen below, along with guest seating outside, too. Further outside, a wetbar makes trips more enjoyable. Boarding can take place either to port or starboard, for extra convenience.

Similarly convenient, the Hodgdon Tenders limousine tender has a lowering T top. This makes it possible to stow the boat in a tender garage, where overhead clearance is always at a premium. Additionally for the crew’s convenience, the engine hatch is full beam and raises and lowers electrically. Inside is a pair of Volvo Penta D4-320 powerplants. Although the anticipated speeds aren’t available, Hodgdon says the hull design and engineering keep the boat swift and stable even in some sloppy conditions.

Hodgdon Tenders is the superyacht-tender division of Hodgdon Yachts, which focuses on custom yachts. Hodgdon Yachts dates back to 1816, and the family of the founder, Caleb Hodgdon, still owns and operates it today. This makes it one of the oldest family-run shipyards in the world.

Furthermore, the division offers several styles, each with a Michael Peters Yacht Design hull and in-house engineering. In fact, besides the Limousine models, Open and Beachlander Sport models attract attention. Entirely custom designed and built tenders are available, too. Most recently, the tenders division added electric models.
