Pride in country is one of the reasons an experienced charterer has chosen to build his own yacht. The Antonini Navi yacht Seamore is unusual for being fully custom at just 108 feet (33 meters), but the shipyard plans to create a series based largely on her engineering.
The owner has chartered summer after summer with his family in the Med. The experiences therefore provided him with a number of firm ideas as to how they all like to relax and spend time together. They in turn are translating to a few stand-out features aboard the new yacht. For instance, much of the main deck is alfresco space. In fact, about 1,615 square feet (150 square meters) of open deck area here is for sharing good conversations and good times. Sliding glass and deployable balconies open up the main deck’s interior spaces to create even more. But, if the weather isn’t conducive to being outside, those can remain closed, and further pocket glass “walls” can slide in place to essentially enclose the alfresco area.

Of course, the owner and his family are counting on having more sunny days on the yacht Seamore than rainy days. That is evident by the 59-foot-long (18-meter-long) beach area, from the swim platform and up terraced steps to a sunning area. Yet a further 1,722 square feet (160 square meters) of both sunny and shaded areas stretch across the sundeck. It’s a pretty long deck, too, nearly the same dimensions as the main deck.
While the yacht Seamore has naval architecture by the yard in conjunction with Hydro Tec, the interiors are from yet another Italian company, Hot Lab. With the owner, the studio is creating a blend of classic and contemporary looks. Teak, for example, brings in the traditional element, while a cozy bar caters to modern trends. Overall, soft tones like creams and sage green help create a peaceful ambience, plus echo the colors of the sea.

After the owner takes delivery in early 2025, Seamore will premiere at the Cannes Yachting Festival that fall. In the meantime, Antonini Navi is focusing on selling the first hull in the series based on her overall design and engineering. Customers will be able to tailor the interiors and on-deck areas as they wish. She’ll be ready for cruising as soon as 2026.
