Upon learning that a graffiti artist had tagged a yacht, you’d likely conclude it was a terrible situation. However, the street artist I AM EELCO actually received an invitation to paint the still-confidential Oceanco Y726 yacht. It commemorated her journey from Oceanco’s early-stage construction facilities in one city to her final outfitting shed in another in The Netherlands.
Oceanco transported the 364-footer (111-meter) via the Oude Maas River, a journey all its other megayachts make. The yacht’s 4,550 gross tonnage makes her among the largest superyachts by volume that the builder has taken on to date. Other parties responsible for her taking shape include Espen Øino International for styling and Mark Berryman Design for the interior. (On a related subject, the same studios are contributing to the Oceanco Y722 yacht project.)
Despite her name currently remaining out of the public eye, the Y726 yacht is not entirely confidential. In fact, several notable features will be aboard. For example, the owners and guests will get to gaze through large windows on multiple decks. A winter garden is among the areas with significant glass, too. Elsewhere inside, guests can enjoy a cinema, a gym, and a spa with both a steam room and a sauna. Not surprisingly, the superyacht also has a healthy beach club, with a bar, directly off the swim platform. Out on deck, meanwhile, an alfresco cinema will keep guests entertained. A shaded cocktail area should prove popular as well. Finally, the owners have a private hot tub, although another hot tub complements a pool on the aft part of the main deck.
Upon delivery, the Oceanco Y726 yacht will cruise with a maximum of 28 guests and 34 crewmembers.
