The Atlante series of semi-custom yachts is on pace to grow with its newest delivery in 2025. That delivery, the Atlante Classic 35 explorer yacht, recently celebrated her hull turning at the shipyard.
That shipyard happens to be Turkey-based Mengi Yay Yachts. Atlante Yachts, however, operates autonomously, therefore not tied to any one specific builder. Instead, it’s a yacht design, project management, and consultancy firm. It recommends shipyards on a project-by-project basis, further providing engineering, specifications, contract terms, as well as pre- and post-construction support. Atlante Yachts has offices in the UK, Italy, and France.

This Atlante Classic 35 explorer yacht, announced last year, has a steel hull with a bulbous bow. Notably, the owners initially wanted a 108-footer (33-meter) whose volume was sub-300 gross tons. Following “months of intensive work,” according to Paolo Dose, VYD Studio’s head of design, the final look and feel (below) resulted. LOA is 113 feet (34.5 meters), with a beam of 27 feet (8.24 meters) and volume of 330 gross tons. Dose calls her “a highly competitive high-volume superyacht with expansive living and deck spaces.”

Among the living spaces, five staterooms will take care of the owners plus their family and friends. Some of the earliest renderings of the interior reveal light-tone woods and subdued colors for a serene setting. Additionally, the owners and guests will have large alfresco areas, along with a beach club to enjoy at a variety of destinations.

Many destinations might be in their future, too, given the anticipated performance. Her ocean-crossing range should be upwards of 5,000 nautical miles at 9 knots. Range should still be good at 11 knots, the anticipated average cruise. She’ll further have about 10,567 gallons (40,000 liters) of fuel capacity. Power will come from twin 850-hp Volvo Penta engines.
The hull and superstructure (the latter aluminum) joining should take place within the next few months. Ultimately, the Atlante Classic 35 explorer yacht will meet RINA’s C ✠ HULL ○ MACH Y Short Range Commercial classification standard.

The yacht is on schedule for delivery next spring. Afterwards, she’ll make her global debut at the Cannes Yachting Festival next September.
