Rossinavi knew it was onto something in creating its new brand of explorer yachts with ultra-luxe amenities. An American has signed a contract for the very first hull, a Nolimits Yachts NL45.
The idea behind Nolimits Yachts is to make exploring more feasible for more cruisers. To date, many explorer-oriented designs are for quite large, and quite voluminous, megayachts, Rossinavi believed an entire group of potential clients was left behind. It therefore came up with five all-aluminum models from 98 to 148 feet (30 to 45 meters). All are well within the 500-gross-ton limit, too.
Additionally, all Nolimits Yachts projects have common technological solutions. Heavy-duty engines and gensets promise reliability far from shore. Independent rudders provide better maneuverability. Double stabilizer installations, robust air conditioning, plus sound- and vibration-isolating techniques all boost comfort.
Speaking of comfort, the crew work areas and passageways are more spacious particularly for using on extended sea passages. Equally important for customers wanting to travel the world, all Nolimits megayachts carry Panama Canal and Suez Canal certifications. (The respective canal authorities have their own sets of rules and regulations for measuring tonnage on vessels entering their waters.)
The owner of the first Nolimits Yachts NL45 has made a few requests. Firstly, the master suite will be full beam on the main deck, with a private office. To allow family and friends to enjoy the great outdoors while enjoying meals, a dining area will sit just outside the cozy skylounge. They’ll still, though, be able to have some meals inside, in the traditional place on the main deck. Down below, meanwhile, a gym will lead directly out to the open-air beach club area. And, finally, a pool and lounging space will sit on the foredeck, while 1,184 square feet (110 square meters) of sundeck will await.
Come delivery, the owner and guests will have upwards of 4,000 nautical miles to cover at the most efficient cruising speed. Top speed should be 15 knots.
Construction on the entirely aluminum yacht is already underway. The owner should be able to christen the megayacht toward the end of 2025.
