The growth of yachting in recent years extends to chartering, seeing many first-timers enjoy this vacation option. To open it up to more guests, two superyachts in the Denison Yachting fleet are offering all-inclusive yacht charter.
Traditionally, superyacht charter rates vary according to high season versus low season. They also exclude things like dockage, fuel, liquor, and fuel. Since the idea is that these vacations are completely tailored. To that same point, charter guests need to fill out detailed preference sheets. These note dietary desires, for instance, plus activities they want to pursue. Additionally, although some yacht charter houses promote all-inclusive packages, the rate actually doesn’t include everything. Similtaneously, some of the yachts aren’t megayachts.
Denison Yachting has offered completely customized charters since it first began booking them in 2008. However, “there’s a perception outside of the yachting industry that chartering a yacht is inherently complex,” explains Ben Farborough, Denison’s chief operating officer. “Our goal is to change that.”
To simplify the process, the company approached the owners and crew of yachts in its fleet. The teams behind Stay Salty and Real Summertime not only came up with fixed itineraries, but also specific dates, cocktail lists, and other package-oriented details. They leveraged their knowledge of crowd-pleasing prior menus, for example, along with prior guests’ favorite cocktails and the captains’ favorite anchorages.
Stay Salty (above) is a 135-footer (41-meter) accommodating parties of 12 that recently completed a major décor upgrade. Real Summertime (below) is a 120-footer (36-meter) for parties of 12, too, with an outdoor cinema among the highlights. Each of them offers all-inclusive yacht charter in the British Virgin Islands (above) and the Bahamas. From stepping onboard at specific embarkation locales until the moment they depart for home, charter guests will know everything is already set.
Additionally, Denison Yachting can include private jet travel in a set price for card holders. It has a partnership with Magellan Jets that provides guests with transportation from several points of origin directly to the yachts’ locations. As an example, 12 people can fly from Teterboro, New Jersey to Nassau for $48,000, with seven days’ notice.
Of course, charterers who want the full tailored touch can still book traditional charter vacations. Notably, though, the all-inclusive charter packages include some add-on custom experiences, on request.
