The White Lotus TV series became an instant hit when it premiered in 2021. Loyal viewers tune in for the exploits of the guests and staff at a luxury resort. The luxury—and the exploits—have left land for the sea aboard a superyacht in the current season. If you consider yourself an uber fan, you can charter The White Lotus yacht Spacecat in Thailand, too, where the show takes place.
A 2022 delivery from Silver Yachts, Spacecat is a catamaran. Naturally, that means a lot more space, besides strong stability. For instance, 4,306 square feet (400 square meters) of alfresco relaxation and entertainment areas are aboard. The main aft deck by itself offers 2,174 square feet (202 square meters) of open area. The interior, meanwhile, provides 3,229 square feet (300 square meters) of livable space from the saloon to four staterooms for you and your party. Altogether, Silver Yachts says Spacecat’s volume is comparable to that of a traditional 164-foot (50-meter) single-hulled motoryacht.

Avid yacht watchers readily identified The White Lotus yacht in the most recent episode as Spacecat. (Spoiler alert: If you watch the show but haven’t yet seen episode four, skip to the end of this article.) During the episode, Chloe welcomes several of the fellow resort guests aboard the yacht, belonging to her boyfriend Gary. Multiple scenes take place aboard, amid the stunning scenery of Thailand, too. Notably, in a recent interview with Variety magazine, the actress portraying Chloe, Charlotte Le Bon, shares that the director of photography “was so precise with what he wanted in the background, he kept turning the boat all the time.”
While in between scenes, Le Bon and the other actors escaped to the air-conditioned comfort, you have more to enjoy if you charter Spacecat. She’s a recent addition to Northrop & Johnson’s central fleet. The 118-footer (35.9-meter) has an 18-foot (5.5-meter) pool on the aft deck, for example. Consider enjoying breakfast alfresco on the upper deck, enjoying the views. When it’s time to head to a new anchorage, settle into the foredeck lounge (below). Watertoy enthusiasts have plenty from which to choose, including stand-up paddleboards, an electric foiling board, and a towable inflatable donut.

Equally important, chartering The White Lotus yacht Spacecat means cruising the very region where the season is set. Among the highlights are the limestone cliffs and shallow bays of Phang Nga Bay near Phuket. The weekly base rate ranges from $160,000 to $175,000, depending on low or high season.
