Sometimes a change of plans makes a brand-new yacht available. A Hargrave 125 Tri-Deck yacht in build for nearly the past two years is currently ready for cruising with new owners. If you think you know the Hargrave “look,” this design may surprise you. What’s more, Hargrave Yachts Management is offering full operational support for the first six months, including crew, if you wish.
The craftspeople at Hargrave’s yard in Turkey and the owners have kept the project out of the spotlight for the 22 months that she’s been under construction. That’s why photos haven’t yet been released. Regardless, the profile of this 125-footer (38-meter) is pretty sporty, as Hargrave’s animation reveals. While some Hargrave owners tend to have more traditional tastes, these owners have fully embraced more contemporary styling. Lowered bulwarks on the main deck and sizable skylights aft on the sundeck, above a bar and loose lounges, particularly stand out. Overall, the profile is the latest evolution of the Hargrave E Series, which is purposely sportier
With a volume of about 330 gross tons, the Hargrave 125 Tri-Deck yacht also has in-demand amenities. A pool on the aft deck, for example, becomes part of the social heart of the yacht because of a facing seating area. Enjoying an anchorage, whether in the Med or stateside, can be as simple as relaxing in the beach club. The beach club further is the place to unwind because it contains a sauna/steam shower. Five king-size staterooms, including the main-deck master suite, mean multiple generations can cruise together, too.
Throughout the interior, the owners and Yacht Interiors by Shelley have created a sophisticated, light-filled ambience. Nearly full-height windows let sunlight play on the wood soles and richer-wood walls. Mirrored surfaces in the master suite amplify the effect, and the feeling of space. So does more than seven feet (2.2 meters) of headroom on each deck. The buyers naturally will be able to arrange furnishings as they wish plus change paneling. However, they may like how some areas, such as the sky lounge, are arranged. It has a bar, facing the windows.
Anticipated to cruise at 17 knots, the Hargrave 125 Tri-Deck yacht should be ready for sea trials in about two weeks. Ultimately, a crew of seven will run her. The yard’s yacht-management division, as mentioned, can place the crew for you, whether you want to spend the summer in the Med, the Bahamas, or somewhere else.
On a related subject, upon delivery, the megayacht will mark delivery number 116 for Hargrave.
