Mixed in among all the traditional single-hulled yachts you’ll see at the Monaco Yacht Show is this catamaran, Bradley, from France-based H2X Yachts & Ships. Measuring about 26 meters (85 feet) LOA and with a nearly 11-meter (35-foot) beam, she accommodates an unusually large number of people: upwards of 14, thanks to five double cabins (including the master) and two over-under crew cabins. Even her construction is unusual for a yacht this size: an aluminum hull combined with a fiberglass superstructure.
Some other highlights include oak and wenge woods; a private terrace off the master stateroom, which is on the same level as the pilothouse and enjoys panoramic views; an all-stainless steel galley; abundant sunning space; and walk-around teak decks wide enough to permit two people to pass each other.
H2X claims a top speed of more than 20 knots and a range of more than 1,000 nautical miles at a 10-knot cruise. Her twin MANs are coupled to twin Hamilton waterjets for additional maneuverability.
H2X will be exhibiting in the Darse Nord tent and have Bradley in the water at Darse Sud.
