This nearly 220-foot (67-meter) megayacht is the result of a collaboration between CBI Navi and Giorgio Vafiadis, marking the Italian shipyard’s largest project.
The builder and designer are already quite familiar with one another, having previously worked together on the 164-foot (50-meter) Aifos. CBI Navi’s parent company, Fipa Group, further has a relationship with Vafiadis stemming from his contributions to a 140-foot waterjet motoryacht among the AB Yachts offerings.
The CBI Navi 675, as the megayacht model is being called, has five decks, all nicely elongated to maximize usable space. Maximizing the comfort of those spaces, large windows line the three levels comprising the main, bridge, and upper decks.
The owner requested a few special arrangements for the interior of the CBI Navi 675. Among these are a cinema and a bar area, the latter complete with a piano (sing-alongs, anyone?). For the ultimate in pampering, a spa is also aboard, containing a hair salon, massage room, sauna, and steam bath. It’s easy to imagine the 12 guests, housed in four VIP cabins below decks and two more on the bridge deck, taking full advantage of these facilities.
The owner may also spend some time here, though he won’t need to leave his own suite to do so. It contains its own steam room, as well as a hot tub, in a spa-like private bath.
The CBI Navi 675 is intended to undertake long-range cruising, topping out at 16 knots under Caterpillar power. A crew of 17 will manage her.
