Following strong interest from its clients, Denison Super Yacht Division is now the stateside-based representative for Cantiere delle Marche.
Denison Super Yacht Division, part of Denison Yacht Sales, will be both the sales and service agent for the United States and rest of North America. The company will promote the Darwin Class (above) and Nauta Air series of megayachts. During the upcoming boat-show season, Denison Super Yacht Division will co-exhibit two such yachts. They’ll be displayed at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show in October and Yacht & Brokerage Show in February.
The selection resulted after several positive developments. One Denison Super Yacht Division customer signed a contract for a Darwin Class 102. That project started as the Darwin Class 96. Another client is close to contracting for a Darwin Class 96. Furthermore, Vasco Buonpensiere, Cantiere delle Marche’s sales and marketing director, says Denison Super Yacht Division made additional valuable introductions. “Beside a strong marketing plan, we are also working on a dedicated range of vessels which are engineered and designed exclusively for the American market, after having interviewed more than 250 potential CdM yacht owners in the U.S.,” he explains. “This wouldn’t have been possible without such an experienced and proactive partner.”
Gabriele Virgili, Cantiere delle Marche’s chairman, adds, “I am sure that we will soon move up from our one-sale-every-90-days average performance thanks to this partnership.”
Alex G. Clarke, a broker with Denison Super Yacht Division, says the relationship has resulted from several years of getting to know the Cantiere delle Marche team and examining its yachts. (On a side note, MegayachtNews.com was aboard a sea trial for a Cantiere delle Marche megayacht last September, where Clarke was also present.) Clarke comments, “American buyers have pioneered the explorer style vessels, and I am confident that the Cantiere delle Marche brand will be a huge success in the USA.”
