The annual Monaco Yacht Show is underway, with more than 110 megayachts in the water, its largest-ever display. Our editor, Diane M. Byrne, and some of our contributors have tours planned through the weekend for Heesen Yachts’ Monaco Wolf and Elena, ISA Yachts’ Silver Wind, Rossinavi’s Polaris, the Ferretti Custom Line Navetta 28, and more. A number of press conferences are on our agenda as well. Royal Huisman, for example, is revealing its newest sailing project. And two businesses in the United States and Europe are planning a new cooperative venture they call OneOcean.
We’ll be using all of our social media tools to bring you the latest news from the docks and press conferences. You can follow us on Facebook and Google+, where we will be uploading photo galleries. We’ll also be posting videos to our Vine account. To help you better find our posts on any of those social media channels from your own page, just search for the hashtag #MonacoYachtShow.
Of course, we’re additionally posting photos and commentary on the Megayacht News Twitter account. We, along with a lot of other people attending the show, are using the hashtag #MonacoYachtShow there, too. In fact, you can see a live stream of posts with #MonacoYachtShow below. To keep it from being overwhelming (there are hundreds of exhibitors at the show using social media), the feed shows just the most recent five posts. If you want to read more, just click the Show Older button beneath the last post.
If you have a Twitter account, send us your questions about what we see and hear, using #MonacoYachtShow. We promise to reply as we make our way down the docks!
