In 2016, the Caribbean will have a new marina, with residential offerings, shopping, dining, and of course a yacht club all being available by 2017. It’s Tamarind Cove Marina, situated on a naturally sheltered bay.
While Nevis does currently have a famous Four Seasons resort, and there are plans to develop further vacation spots, the 36-square-mile island is still largely undeveloped. Tamarind Cove Marina will bring 150 slips for yachts and megayachts to 180 feet (about 54.9 meters) to Cades Bay, on Nevis’ southern shores. The docks will be in proximity to shops, a boutique hotel with a spa, and a yacht club with a lounge, a restaurant, and casino, all exclusively for members. Power and sailing megayachts alike should have no trouble entering Tamarind Cove Marina. The channel on the approach and the marina entrance are each about 15 feet (4.6 meters) deep.
Homes are being developed as part of The Residence at Tamarind Cove. One- to three-bedroom units are available, each with water views. Fractional opportunities are being offered, too.
Tamarind Cove Residence and Club members will have a variety of concierge services at their disposal. These include arrangements for watersports, sportfishing, catering, golfing, hiking, ground transportation, and business center needs. Since the Four Seasons resort is 10 minutes away, Tamarind Cove Marina yacht owners and guests will have usage rights
Those of you interested in homeporting: A Citizenship by Investment program is available through fractional and yacht slip purchases.
