Just in time to celebrate Halloween, Just J’s slipped into the water at Hakvoort Shipyard. The 200-footer (61-meter), known as YN248 in build, also just marked the biggest megayacht launched by the Dutch builder. She’s so big, in fact, that while in the build shed, she occupied nearly every inch of available space.
While the owners of Just J’s are new to Hakvoort, they’re not new to yachting. Their on-the-water experiences therefore greatly influenced some of the megayacht’s notable, and unusual, features. A primary one is the fact that nearly all guest staterooms are on the main deck. There are five in total on that deck, including a VIP. Two further guest staterooms are on the lower deck, where the 14 crew are also accommodated. Just J’s further has an upper deck devoted to the owners. Besides benefitting from quite the views up here, it has a skylight. Part of the same deck contains the skylounge, with a bar. The owners collaborated with Sinot Exclusive Yacht Design for the interior, as well as the styling. (Diana Yacht Design, a frequent Hakvoort partner, was responsible for naval architecture.)
The owners of Just J’s surely enjoy their alfresco time, too. There’s a pool on the sundeck, plus four PWCs stowed in the tender garage. Those watertoys deploy from both sides of Just J’s. If zipping around shore all day on a PWC doesn’t burn enough calories, the guests can always hit the gym on the lower deck.
