Come January 2018, happy owners are set to take delivery of Project Alba. Also known as Heesen hull number 18050, Project Alba will be in experienced hands, too.
The photo above was taken during the megayacht’s keel laying. It was completed prior to the sale. (As a reminder, Heesen often starts construction of projects before having owners attached to them.) The last two digits of her hull number seen there signify that Project Alba is part of Heesen’s 50-meter series. The all-aluminum megayacht’s LOA is actually 163’4” (49.8 meters).
In keeping with the rest of the megayachts in the same series, Project Alba is expected to see a 23-knot top speed. She’s being fitted with MTU power. Best range should be 3,100 nautical miles at 12 knots. Also in keeping with her series, styling is by Omega Architects.
Inside, Francesco Paszkowski Design is working with the owners on a modern decor. Dark and pale tones, along with lacquered materials, will set the scene. Project Alba will additionally have leather and stone elements throughout her six staterooms. The 29’5” (9-meter) yacht will have a traditional general arrangement: guest staterooms below, master suite on the main deck.
On a related note, Project Alba is one of 10 megayachts in build at Heesen Yachts at present.
