A crew-to-guest ratio better than 1:1. Amenities that will make you say “aah” and “aha.” These are some of the reasons to consider booking Vicky this summer, her first-ever charter season.
The 239-footer (73-meter) has been privately used since delivery in 2012 (by Proteksan Turquoise, now Turquoise Yachts). She was a frequent sight in the Med, where she’ll charter beginning in May. In fact, Adriatic and both eastern and Western Med destinations are all on Vicky’s inaugural charter itinerary.
Geoff Moore, managing director of West Nautical, among the charter firms booking Vicky, believes she’ll attract good interest for several reasons. A primary one is the space devoted to a spa/wellness area, seen above and below. On the lower deck, with a fold-down terrace, it includes a private massage room. A full-time masseuse is aboard Vicky, too. The area further features a cozy lounge facing a faux fireplace, a plunge pool with a hot tub, a steam room, and exercise equipment.
In keeping with the serenity theme, the sundeck is among the biggest in Vicky’s size range. Length: nearly 79 feet (24 meters). It’s is ideal for lazing. Multiple sun lounges, seating areas, and a dining area will let you spend all day up here. So, too, will the 16-foot-long (5-meter-long) pool, which also integrates a hot tub.
For more energetic pursuits, ask any of Vicky’s 19 crew to set up her sundeck slide. They can also show you how to use the SeaBobs and PWCs, plus tow you around on inflatables. Come nighttime, put on your best dancing clothes. The sundeck transforms into your own personal alfresco nightclub. It’s thanks to a DJ console and lighting in the bar.
Not that Vicky is solely for grown-ups. In fact, the accommodations for 12 include a twin cabin attached to a day room that can be a kids’ play area. The small set will get a kick out of the fish tank in the formal dining area (above). They can keep up with their piano lessons on the baby grand in the saloon, too. And, they can watch movies in the upper-deck cinema while you relax on either of the private balconies in the master suite, on the same level.
Vicky’s weekly base rate is €550,000 per week (about $605,000 per week at press time). Here are a few more looks at her.
