Unlike the title character in the 1970s horror film, here’s one blob that neither creeps nor leaps. You’ll certainly want to leap onto it, though. It’s the BigAir Yacht Blob, the latest inflatable watertoy from FunAir.
Bouncy inflatables like this have been around for a while. FunAir adapted the design to make it more stable, and more yacht-friendly. For example, flowing currents and ocean waves make most of the blob-like toys challenging to use. The BigAir Yacht Blob therefore has outrigger-like features to keep it stable, and in one place. Furthermore, FunAir includes an inflatable extension that keeps the BigAir Yacht Blob a safe distance from the side of your yacht. This way, you and your friends can jump down onto it from your yacht’s top deck without worrying about falling backwards into the hull if you bounce or roll off.
Speaking of bouncing, check out how high the woman is in the photo. FunAir says the BigAir Yacht Blob lets you launch a friend a few dozen feet in the air. The video below gives a better idea of how it’s done:
FunAir will have more details on the BigAir Yacht Blob at the Fort Lauderdale show (a.k.a. FLIBS). It’s exhibiting with National Marine Suppliers in the Superyacht Pavilion. You can also order directly via the FunAir Yacht Shop, which showcases all of its available toys. Some can ship within less than 24 hours of ordering, too.
