Every day, on megayachts dotting the globe, owners and guests enjoy fine spirits. Andrew Troyer has seen it up close, having spent his career in the luxury sector. Interestingly, and fittingly, as much as selling yachts brings him personal and professional satisfaction, he’s passionate about fine spirits, too. That passion led him to create ARÔME Spirits, with ARÔME 28 being a fine sipping rum.
With the guidance of a renowned Cuban rum master, Troyer created ARÔME 28 from a reserve of aged Panamanian rum. (The “28” in the name signifies 28 years.) It’s matured in uncharred oak barrels previously used for bourbon. Troyer additionally designed the bottle and label to complement the idea of a gentleman’s sipping rum.
