Since you can customize your superyacht, shouldn’t you be able to do the same with your tender? Nerea Yacht has adopted this philosophy for its first dayboat/tender, the NY24. Hull number one is now Nerea Yacht’s NY24 Deluxe version. Joining her are the NY24 GT (for Gran Turismo) as well as the NY24 Limo. Whichever one you choose, you still have multiple options for outfitting. In addition, you can enjoy thrilling rides around the harbor.
The Italian builder premiered the tender at the Düsseldorf boat show in January. She gets her name from her LOA, which is 24 feet (7.35 meters). The design studio ideaeITALIA fashioned her as a fun, stylish, and fast boat. Nerea Yachts’ NY24 Deluxe (at top), for instance, tops out at a reported 39 knots. The Volvo Penta stern drive also reportedly pushes her to a 30-knot cruise. For your crew’s convenience, or yours as an owner-operator, the anchor automatically launches and retrieves via a helm control. Furthermore, to be “green,” you can opt for auxiliary electric jet propulsion. This, the builder says, lets you explore sensitive waters for up to an hour at a max of 5 knots.
Nerea Yacht’s NY24 Deluxe version will be at the Cannes Yachting Festival. Be sure to check out the cabin, with teak steps leading you in here. The double berth and enclosed head are handy if you want to overnight or just spend a few hours cruising around.
As for the other two versions, the Gran Turismo (above) is just what she sounds like. The builder likens her to a sea roadster, in fact. Like a sports car, she emphasizes day tripping, and open-air enjoyment. Note especially the large sunbed atop her transom. Even with this, you still get a good-size cockpit, with U-shaped seating and a convertible dinette. You further get the cabin.
Nerea Yacht’s NY24 Limo version (directly above), meanwhile, is ideal for stowing in a garage. The builder purposely keeps height low for this purpose. The big styling and feature changes are the helm station toward the middle of the cockpit, and the elimination of the cabin. There’s also a wrap-around windscreen, protecting guests particularly in the forward seating area.
Note as well, whether you’re considering the Limo, GT, or Deluxe version, that you can add a two-drawer refrigerator in the cockpit. Nerea Yacht can additionally add a sink. Finally, for shade seekers, a bimini and four carbon fiber poles can complement the cockpit, and stow aboard.
