Yacht clubs in his native Australia, hotels around the world, and private collectors from the United States to the UK and beyond turn to John Woulfe for artistic expressions they cannot get anywhere else. Woulfe draws inspiration from his home country’s famous bush, as well as the ocean. In fact, the sailing-yacht sculpture here is just one of many pieces that sprang to life from his imagination.
Whether you commission a stand-alone sculpture like this, or a piece to hang on the wall, Woulfe uses a variety of materials. For instance, stainless steel figures prominently in many pieces. So, too, do classic Australian woods like red cedar, jarrah, and Huon pine. Furthermore, there are no constraints on size.
