Many superyachts have been heading to Norway and Denmark. Yacht agencies like BWA Yachting have been addressing numerous inquiries from captains about where to go and what local guides can help the owners and guests. The yacht agency therefore has opened new offices in both countries.
To ensure captains can tap first-hand knowledge, BWA Yachting has partnered with SDK Group, a shipping and logistics company. SDK Group has a presence in Norway and Denmark, as well as in Sweden and The Netherlands. Together, the duo will ease customs clearances, help with bunkering, provide advanced itinerary planning, book hotels and restaurants, and of course help with provisioning and technical support.
Interestingly, the Group has had an eye on yachting for some time. In fact, Steffen Dalgaard, CEO of SDK Shipping, says the team believes yachting is a “natural continuation” of the business. “Together, we will bring the yacht market in Northern Europe to a new level,” he asserts.
Nikolaos Patsiokas, CEO of BWA Yachting, says the benefits of partnering are already proven. “SDK Group has already proven to be a great asset through its impressive local knowledge, extensive coverage of the region, and dedication to customer service,” he explains.
Whether you’re interested in seeing the famous Norwegian fjords (one of five reasons Norway is rising for luxury-yacht vacations) or securing a table at Copenhagen’s best restaurants, BWA Yachting’s regional manager for Scandinavia, Louise Landler, is the go-to person. “We look forward to creating unforgettable memories together with the captains, crews, and guests,” she says.
