The third time may be the charm for CRN and Omega Architects. The Italian shipyard and Dutch design studio are collaborating on their third contract together. For now, the name of this all-aluminum megayacht is confidential, so she goes by her hull number, CRN 142.
Many aspects about this 171-foot (52-meter) megayacht remain confidential for now, in fact. For instance, while interior design comes from Massari Design—a studio focusing on yachts, private homes, and jets—CRN is not disclosing specifics about the general arrangement. Neither is the shipyard or owners’ team disclosing details about tones and materials setting the ambiance. Regardless, as you would expect, CRN 142 will have full-height glass to make many of the interior areas lighter and brighter, and to augment the views.
Regardless, the profile does reveal a few features. Note, for example, a pool sitting on the main aft deck. The aft deck itself appears rather open, too, especially due to cutouts to port and starboard. Additionally, the alfresco seating and dining areas one deck up look more open, due to clear glass sections. And, of course, the sundeck has a combination of shaded and open relaxation zones. These, as well as the overall styling, come from Omega Architects.
Speaking of Omega Architects, as mentioned, CRN 142 represents the third pairing of the studio and the shipyard. Several years ago, they teamed up for Yalla, and currently have a 203-footer (62-meter) in build, a.k.a. CRN 138.
Further currently at the yard, CRN 137, another 203-footer, is nearing delivery.
