As the CEO of Sunseeker, Andrea Frabetti naturally is confident in his shipyard’s abilities. Specifically where the Sunseeker Superyacht Division is concerned, he has further reason to be confident. The British builder has delivered 141 megayachts exceeding 100 feet (30.5 meters) since 2001. As he shared with us last year, the division is “a dedicated organization and a strategy to grow in a way in which we will cover the niches in this market.” Covering those niches includes partnering with two well-known superyacht shipyards, namely Pendennis and Icon Yachts, for new avenues of growth, too.
In this episode of Megayacht News Radio, Frabetti updates us on the latest developments with Sunseeker Superyacht Division projects. Specifically, we get the latest on the 42M Ocean and 50M Ocean. Furthermore, he discusses how the team has created an intimate experience, Sunseeker on Show, to better acquaint customers and their families with the cruising options awaiting them. While it is a direct response to the exhibition challenges of COVID-19, it is an idea whose time has come. And, Frabetti sheds light on how a significant investment from Sunseeker’s parent company will help it double the number of its yacht models by 2023.
