For the past decade, YARE has brought together superyacht captains with yacht builders, superyacht companies, and other professionals. While hosted in Italy, YARE (Yachting Aftersales & Refit Experience) is an international event, with a sole focus of fostering networking. This year, on November 26 and 27, the event is live online. Furthermore, one of the key discussions is the YARE panel “The Green Agenda: What Does Being Green Really Mean?”
YARE spans two days due to the myriad activities it covers. For example, on November 26, the ever-popular captains’ forum takes place. It includes seminars and panel discussions for, of course, captains, along with other senior crew, too. Overall, the presenters provide insight into the current state of the market and address issues of significance impacting these crewmembers.
The above-mentioned YARE panel “The Green Agenda” is one of several spread over the two-day event. The panel subtitle intends to make it clear to all attendees that being “green” means far more than avoiding plastics or using hybrid power. Panelists from leading industry suppliers and other companies, as well as Water Revolution Foundation, will provide details on how captains and their bosses, as well as industry players, can make better decisions. Additionally, the panelists will open the floor to questions and commentary throughout the one-hour discussion, on November 27.
Further moderators throughout the two-day YARE programming include John Leonida, a well-known maritime attorney and the superyacht-industry advisor at LP Squared Consulting. He is leading the Tax and Legal Administration workshop. Justin Ratcliffe, a freelance writer and photographer, will lead the Refit Planning panel. Finally, other workshops and presentations will cover understanding customer behavior, cybersecurity threats and challenges, and high-end lifestyle services.
The full program is now available on the YARE website. To register, visit the website or download the YARE app.
