A handful of experienced yachting companies, including a shipyard and design studio, have banded together to create Atlante Yachts. The idea is to take owners through the design, build, and project-management process. They’re doing so with the Atlante Yachts Series, of which the Atlante Mistral 41 is already under construction.
The build and design companies behind Atlante Yachts are, respectively, are the Mengi Yay Yachts shipyard in Turkey and the YVD design studio in Italy. The two have already worked together on megayachts like Sea Star and have two more similar yachts under construction. Additionally, Yacht & Villa, a superyacht-brokerage firm in London and France, is the central agent for the Mistral 41 hull number two, plus the five more models that will comprise the series. Yacht & Villa will provide yacht management and support to owners, too.
With contemporary appeal outside and inside, the 135-foot (41-meter) Mistral 41 prioritizes leisurely relaxation and different ways of living at sea. For instance, a fitness area sits on the main deck. Furthermore, you get a choice between a traditional five-stateroom layout and an remarkable Penthouse layout. In the former, four guest staterooms are below decks and the master is forward on the main deck. The Penthouse layout, meanwhile, has the master occupying nearly the entire upper deck. This, in turn, allows for a full-beam dining area forward on the main deck, with an adjacent alfresco “smoker’s lounge” to port. It also puts the galley below decks, reducing the guest-cabin count to three.
Regardless of arrangement, the Mistral 41 includes an infinity pool on the main aft deck, fold-down balconies, and of course long range. Anticipate a 15-knot cruise permitting a range of more than 5,000 nautical miles. Top speed should be 20 knots.
The Mistral 41 is available with a steel hull instead of aluminum, as well as with hybrid power. Details should be available on the remaining five models in the coming months.
