Codecasa F77, the shipyard’s latest custom yacht, made the short trip from one construction site to another this month. While the megayacht’s name remains confidential, as do the owners’ identity, the move is in keeping with a scheduled delivery next summer.
The 141-footer (43-meter) is what the builder considers part of its Codecasa 43 lineage. (While they share the same LOA, the yacht and the Codecasa 43 Vintage Series have different styling.) Featuring a steel hull and aluminum superstructure, the partially completed craft transferred from the builder’s preliminary production facility in Pisa to its outfitting shed in Viareggio, Italy. Fellow cruisers got good looks at her vertical bow and sporty, sleek looks while she was under tow. Styling as well as naval architecture are both from Codecasa’s in-house departments.

When fully finished, Codecasa F77 should take her owners to a variety of destinations. The best range will be 4,000 nautical miles at her 11-knot cruising speed. Top speed, meanwhile, should be 16½ knots under light load, with twin 1,650-hp Caterpillar diesel engines below decks.
Although the decor remains under wraps, too, Codecasa F77 has four guest staterooms below, along with a main-deck master suite. Two of the guest staterooms have twins and Pullman berths for extra friends or family who will enjoy cruising. All should enjoy the ambience amid the 29’5” (9-meter) beam, since ports along the main deck are particularly large, bringing in plenty of daylight for dining or relaxing.
The move of the 440-gross-ton megayacht comes just a few weeks after My Legacy, a 184-footer (56-meter), launched. She’s set for delivery shortly.
