Grey is a color often associated with gloomy skies and other not-so-scenic settings. Oceanco Y720, though, makes good use of the color in her hull. She shows it off to strong effect, too, in this footage, while she made her way under tug to Oceanco’s Alblasserdam shipyard for finish work in The Netherlands.
The 358-footer (109-meter), reportedly for a high-profile American, arrived via a barge in Rotterdam earlier this month. It followed her emergence from Oceanco’s construction site on March 11. Though weather delays held her up for a few days, she finally transited to Alblasserdam last week.
The superyacht’s sleek lines are from Sinot Yacht Architecture & Design. The exterior styling additionally highlighting wrap-around windows on the main, bridge, and upper decks. Most of the further facts about the project remain confidential. Though, Oceanco has shared that she stretches a beamy 52 feet (16 meters), and that Molly Isaksen Interiors is handling interior design with Sinot’s team. Notably, the Isaksen studio worked on the suspected owner’s prior yacht, too.
Also notably, the megayacht has a set of illuminated vertical design elements around amidships. And, finally, sea trials should confirm a surprising 20-knot top speed, quick for her LOA.
