The Italian Sea Group has a new flagship for its EVO series. The Tecnomar EVO 130 is the newest all-aluminum megayacht, promising customers more space while preserving the sporty looks they like.
The new model slightly eclipses the previously largest project, the EVO 120, which has seen four deliveries so far. The only other model in the series is smaller still, the EVO 115. The Tecnomar EVO 130 measures 131 feet (40 meters), with a beam of 31’5” (9.6 meters). Regardless of LOA, each of the yachts has flowing, sculpted shapes in her profile, drawing inspiration from the automotive sector. All styling and naval architecture is from in-house teams. Further noteworthy, tall, vertical ports characterize some of the below-deck spaces.
Those below-deck spaces include accommodations for a party of 12, along with a crew count of seven. Although The Italian Sea Group hasn’t disclosed many details overall about the interior, buyers can anticipate having a beach club for waterside relaxation. It’s concealed behind a fold-down platform. Both the main and upper decks have healthy-size sunpads at their aft edges, too, for soaking up the outdoor ambience. Both abut seating areas as well, which can cater to cocktails or full-fledged meals.
Of course, since the series is semi-custom, customers can tailor the six staterooms and the rest of the interior areas as they see fit. Additionally, the shipyard has an interior-design department to collaborate on the general arrangement as well as the design details. It suggests a bit more of an unconventional décor, to suit the more modern styling, although ultimately the decision is yours to make.
As for performance, The Italian Sea Group anticipates a top speed of 19 knots and a cruising speed of 17 knots. Power comes from twin 1,800-hp MTU engines. Total fuel capacity should be 9,246 gallons (35,000 liters).
When the first Tecnomar EVO 130 lands a buyer, she’ll bring the brand that much closer to the threshold of 300 deliveries to date.
