If you think a handful of sailing dinghies, sailing catamarans, and PWCs, along with an inflatable waterpark, sound like fun, you’ll like the Alia Sea Club. She’s already started construction, with delivery set for the end of next year.
The 172-footer (52.5-meter) comes from Alia Yachts and Azure Yacht Design. Alia Sea Club started as a concept in 2021, eventually landing a buyer. “Our aim was to create a yacht able to carry a large number of tenders and toys, while keeping the styling motifs and onboard features of a luxurious superyacht,” says Onne Logger, the design studio’s director.
Besides the above-mentioned toys, the Alia Sea Club will have a personal sub, a 42’6” (13-meter) guest tender, a 26’9” (8.2-meter) crew tender, and even more. A large, covered tender bay on the main deck will house most of them. The inflatable waterpark will pack up into a 538-square-foot (50-square-meter) stowage space below decks, alongside other playthings. And, of course, the superyacht will have a helideck—fully certified, too, not for touch-and-go operations.
That’s not all. The 499-gross-ton Alia Sea Club will have a special watersports center. The owners and guests will get to choose among surfboards, SeaBobs, diving gear, and even e-bikes kept here. Additionally, they can re-live their days’ adventures while relaxing come nighttime in the bridge-deck lounge or the following days on the sundeck. Those same spaces can cater to parties when the owners wish.
With a 28-foot (8.6-meter) beam, the yacht has more than enough space for comfortable lounges and other leisure spaces as well. Interestingly, just two guest staterooms will be onboard, besides the master stateroom. This, despite the yacht accommodating up to 10 guests—which may hint at Pullman berths or convertible lounges for guest overflow. Regardless, considering a captain and crew head count of 12, the crew-to-guest ratio is excellent.
We’ll have more on the Alia Sea Club, which Alia Yachts say will top out at 15 knots, in the coming months.
