Even with demand for yachts remaining high, still some would-be cruisers are reluctant to buy. Fractional-ownership programs are meeting with success as a result. SeaNet Europe has such a program, where in fact one yacht coming just before next summer has two shares left.
SeaNet Europe has a six-year-long relationship with the Azimut Benetti Group. Its clients therefore have enjoyed owning shares in a variety of megayachts. The yacht coming next summer is the latest Benetti Oasis 40M, a 134-footer (40.8-meter). The series—which premiered in 2020 with the delivery of Rebeca—boasts a wide-open aft deck. It has an enormous amount of flexible space. Specifically, it’s 969 square feet (90 square meters), with fold-down bulkheads enhancing the barrier-free look and feel. Shareholders get guaranteed weeks in the Med during the summer and the Caribbean during the winter. So, for example, you could enjoy the Balearics, Croatia, Sardinia, or other popular cruising grounds this time next year. Come the cold months, meanwhile, you could soak up rays in the Bahamas, Antigua, St. Barths, or the U.S. or British Virgin Islands.
Yet another perk of co-ownership: SeaNet Europe lets you offer your weeks to other cruisers. It considers itself a matchmaker in this respect, finding the family or couple, for instance, who complements your vision. Additionally, the company handles all communications, including communications among you and the other owners when needed.
