Considering the influx of new superyacht buyers has not waned, so-called entry-level models are as important as super-size ones. The ISA GT 33 yacht, a 108-footer (33-meter), should turn the heads of those craving a combination of sportiness and sophistication, with good speeds, too.
ISA Yachts purposely chose a size to complement the larger projects in its Granturismo (a.k.a. GT) line. This line includes the ISA GT 45. Just as the shipyard did for that project, it’s collaborating this time with Enrico Gobbi – Team for Design for the styling. Many of the same shapes and flowing lines, as you would expect of a coupé, characterize the ISA GT 33. Notably, prominent arch-like lines rise up throughout the decks, further leading your eyes forward. Additionally, you’ll find a high, vertical bow.
Enrico Gobbi – Team for Design is responsible for the all-aluminum project’s interior design, too. While plenty of design teams say they create harmony between indoor and alfresco areas, the studio literally does it aboard the ISA GT 33 yacht. The studio has specified the same aesthetic materials for them on the main and upper decks. It’s also paying special attention to lighting design for a more cohesive ambience.
An owners’ party of 10 have several areas to gather together for good conversations and good meals. The upper deck is home to the circular dining area (above), with sliding glass making going from cocktails to seated service seamless. This circular design, by the way, is a hallmark of ISA Yachts’ GT series. Back on the main deck, due to the full-height glass flanking the saloon, settees are relatively low-backed, preserving the views.
Run with five crewmembers, the ISA GT 33 yacht further has a main-deck master suite and a hot tub nestled on the foredeck.
The high style comes hand in hand with good performance. ISA Yachts anticipates the megayacht making a top speed of 21 knots and a cruising speed of 19 knots. Propulsion comes from twin 1,620-hp MTUs.
