Several weeks after ISA Yachts released details about its super-sporty Gran Turismo superyacht series, one of the largest projects has a buyer. An ISA Gran Turismo 80 is under contract for delivery in 2027, to a client already familiar to the shipyard.
In fact, that owner enjoyed cruising aboard the superyacht Okto (below) for many years. The yacht embarked on her maiden voyage in 2014. As an ISA 66m Granturismo model, she was a precursor to the current Gran Turismo series.
“The owner has always relied on Palumbo Superyachts for the maintenance of his superyacht,” Giuseppe Palumbo, CEO of Palumbo Superyachts (ISA Yachts’ parent company), explains. “That allowed us to create a project tailored to his needs by formulating a new model with high-performance lines that winks at the near future.” Indeed, even her code name, Project Future, hints at that. In keeping with the Gran Turismo notion, she has a sleek profile, echoing the looks of equally sleek coupé yachts and cars. The deliberate choice of steel grey and charcoal accents for the hull further emphasizes the styling.

Although few details are currently available, the ISA Gran Turismo 80 yacht bears styling and interior design by Enrico Gobbi – Team for Design. Accommodating a full owner’s party of 12, five guest staterooms are entirely on the main deck. Among them, a VIP has a private lounge. Yet another guest stateroom is below decks. The owners’ suite, meanwhile, occupies the forward portion of the 262-footer’s upper deck. Notably, it has opening floor-to-ceiling windows/doors leading out to an infinity pool. The effect at night should be striking, since the walkway between the two will have illumination.
Additionally featuring a gym on the same level as the wheelhouse, the yacht will show off wood furnishings outside, with contemporary curves complementary to the superyacht’s styling.
A crew of 18, with 10 cabins below decks, will be aboard as well. The captain’s cabin naturally is adjacent to the wheelhouse.
