The ISA Sportivo superyacht series has lines reminiscent of sports cars and speeds meant to get your heart racing. The series includes the Sportivo 100, 120, and 140, and while the 100 will be the first to debut, in 2025, the ISA Sportivo 140 yacht is the flagship. Naturally, she’s getting the most attention so far. Here’s a virtual look onboard and at her anticipated 32-knot top speed.
Styling and interiors for the ISA Sportivo 140 yacht, and the full series for that matter, are by Enrico Gobbi – Team for Design. The shipyard and studio have paired previously, for the ISA Gran Turismo 50 yacht, for example. Fiberglass and carbon fiber construction keep her lightweight, which helps with performance. The twin MTU engines should, as mentioned, permit a maximum end of 32 knots and a cruising speed of 26 knots. That means quick work of harbor hopping, island hopping, and more.
Because coupé-like megayachts tend to encourage alfresco living, the ISA Sportivo 140 yacht follows suit. The multi-level aft deck is the primary example, cascading down to the swim platform. Each area dedicates itself to seating/lounging, sunning, soaking in a pool, and finally swimming in the sea or boarding watertoys. For extra flair in true Italian style, the shipyard and design team chose stone for the deck area at the base of the benchseat overlooking the pool and sea beyond it.
Forward at the bow, meanwhile, yet more lounging, sunning, and soaking areas welcome guests. ISA Yachts is even installing a firepit. Further noteworthy, the shipyard says buyers can swap out the hot tub for a pop-up movie screen.
Flying bridges aboard coupés are sometimes small. However, aboard the ISA Sportivo 140 yacht, there’s good space for 10 people to dine, plus enjoy cocktails, and further spread out either fully forward or fully aft on large lounges and sunbeds. This allows everyone onboard to be up here without feeling as if they’re on top of one another.
Inside, meanwhile, buyers can tailor the looks as they so wish. Gobbi recommends leathers and metals as accents, especially with pops of color to define each area. Lacquered woods can figure prominently aboard, too. A deploying balcony combines with floor-to-ceiling windows in the saloon and dining area to make the room feel more welcoming and spacious. Equally spacious, the master suite takes advantage of the full beam on this same deck., and of course floor-to-ceiling glass.
ISA Yachts hasn’t indicated a delivery date, since it’s starting the Sportivo 100 yacht first. Generally speaking, though, delivery for superyachts of this size can take place within two years.
