Marking the third contract for the Columbus Atlantique series, the first Columbus Atlantique 37 yacht will begin construction in the coming weeks. She’s the result of requests for a more compact size without compromising on cruising luxuries.
Overall, the series, with styling by Hot Lab, blends classic sailing-yacht design with sporty automotive design. The sailing elements are especially noticeable in the curved, open transom. The sportiness, meanwhile, flows throughout the rest of the profile, particularly the notched superstructure sections.
Though she’s the smallest megayacht model, she has a healthy volume and the big-yacht features of the other models. Volume is 330 gross tons, for instance. In terms of higher-end amenities, the aft deck includes a pool hovering just above the waterline. In fact, it sits about 1½ feet (50 centimeters) above the ocean. Few semi-custom or even custom superyachts in the 121-foot (37-meter) size range have open transoms, and even fewer have pools here.

The owners of the first Columbus Atlantique 37 yacht are working with Hot Lab for the interior design, too. A total of five staterooms will be aboard, including a main-deck master. Interestingly, the main interior dining area isn’t on the main deck. Instead, it’s on the upper deck. Additionally, large circular windows not only complement it, but also slide open. They can slide down as well as side to side, too. The arrangement is just one example of little luxuries making a big impact on the onboard lifestyle. So far, no information is available on the marbles, woods, and other materials. However, the ambience is warm, with abundant natural materials.
Regardless, the owners do plan to have two tenders aboard. One will be in a dedicated garage and measure about 14½ feet (4.45 meters) long. A 10½-foot (3.25-meter) tender, along with the rescue tender, will stow beneath a bow hatch.

This Columbus Atlantique 37 yacht, entirely in aluminum, will see construction at Palumbo Superyachts’ Savona, Italy shipyard. The site has until now handled after-service tasks for all of the Palumbo Superyachts brands, which further include Extra Yachts, ISA Yachts, and Mondomarine. It’s handled refits, too.
Delivery will take place in 2025. Top speed should be 22 knots, with cruising at 19 knots.
