The first welds for a 298-footer (88-meter) are complete at The Italian Sea Group. Eventually, the yacht Project Spyder will have five decks.
She’ll further be much more visible than the teaser illustrations available to see so far. Styling is by Espen Øino International. The Admiral division of The Italian Sea Group providing naval architecture. (On a related note, the megayacht also has been referred to as an Admiral 88.) Espen Øino International considers the yacht Project Spyder “a very ambitious project.”
Some of the most significant design features simultaneously are engineering features. For example, the beach club, spanning 1,076 square feet (100 square meters), has four opening hatches. It also has a spa and a massage/beauty room. Secondly, a 34-foot-long (10.3-meter-long) pool is on the main deck. Since it sits directly above the beach club, it additionally has three glass sections in its bottom, serving as skylights for the bar and other amenities below. Two tenders, 33 and 28 feet (10 and 8.5 meters) LOA, will take guests aboard the yacht Project Spyder to and from shore. They stow in an ample tender garage, along with multiple watertoys.
Further amenities are worth mentioning, too. Rather than have six staterooms for a typical 12-passenger capacity, the owners wanted more. In fact, to accommodate their multi-generation family, nine staterooms are aboard. Naturally, the owners have a full-beam master suite with its own alfresco area. Several family members can use the sundeck, which has abundant sunning space, a hot tub, and a gym. Finally, a handful of them can enjoy the multi-purpose foredeck together. Although it primarily will be a pickleball court, it can convert to a basketball court. As yet another option, it can serve as a helipad.
Delivery is set for 2027.
