A variety of superyacht tenders and primary yachts have seen delivery from Mazu Yachts’ Turkish headquarters since 2011. Until now, it hasn’t specifically targeted buyers in the United States. That’s changing with the appointment of Denison Yachting as its central agent.
Mazu Yachts offers tenders/dayboats in carbon fiber composite from 38 feet to 82 feet (11.6 to 25 meters). It additionally has megayachts with steel hulls and carbon fiber composite superstructures. The latter projects include the Mazu 92 DS (top and below), the 112 DS, and the 132 DS—with “DS” signifying Displacement Series. “For reasons of safety, comfort, and resale value, a displacement hull should be built of steel or aluminum,” explains Halit Yukay, Mazu Yachts’ founder and head designer.

Each of the three series offers buyers broad customization in terms of layout and interior design. The owner of the first Mazu 92 DS yacht enjoys a glass-fronted beach club (below). Regardless of choice, standard fold-down platforms at the transom should appeal to buyers. So, too, should the contemporary exterior styling. Furthermore, all three promise good turns of speed. Expect a top end around 18 knots for the Mazu 92 DS and 20 knots from the Mazu 112 DS yacht, for instance. The Mazu 132 DS, meanwhile, should reach a maximum speed around 18 knots. Notably, all three megayacht models employ Volvo Penta’s IPS propulsion system.
Mazu Yachts prioritizes being a boutique shipyard, delivering just 10 projects annually. Its facilities include about 75,350 square feet (7,000 square meters) of indoor space for construction, carpentry, and painting. Additionally, it has nearly 32,300 square feet (3,000 square meters) of outside area.

Brandon Barnes will be the Mazu Yachts agent at Denison Yachting stateside. “With impressive delivery times, robust steel construction in the displacement series, and extensive customization options, Mazu offers American clientele a unique opportunity within this size range,” he says.
Orhun Senturk, Mazu Yachts’ global sales director, says the shipyard team is eager to tap Denison’s network. “The partnership will offer a seamless buying experience for clients, who can expect better access to Mazu’s unique yachts,” he adds. “For Mazu Yachts, this alliance represents an expansion into markets, aligning with Denison’s reputable client base and market reach.”
