Having just launched at Heesen Yachts, the yacht Project Agnetha has the technical foundation in place for long-range cruising. A spec build, she’s available for sale and can be in your hands for the summer season.

The yacht belongs to Heesen’s 55M Steel series, which counts another recent launch, the yacht Solemates, among its family members. This means the steel hull, paired with MTU engines, is designed to deliver a 15½-knot top speed. Best range should exceed 4,000 nautical miles, meanwhile, at 13 knots.

Even with several sisterships preceding her, the yacht Project Agnetha incorporates some new design details and overall features. They largely come thanks to feedback from captains and owners of other Heesens, as well as brokers. However, the shipyard chooses to alter looks and other elements from time to time, too. In fact, in this case, the styling is a bit more modern. Simultaneously, though, you’ll still see familiar Heesen hallmarks, like what the Dutch builder likes to call its shark-tooth motif characterizing the wheelhouse overhang. From a creature-comfort standpoint, the 180-footer (55-meter) doesn’t have mullions separating the glass flanking the main-deck dining area. This goes a long way toward making guests feel as if there’s no real boundary between them and the surrounding seascapes.

To appeal to a wide variety of buyers, Heesen teamed with Luca Dini Design for a 12-person interior accommodation. Significantly, it includes not just a main-deck master with a balcony, but also a bridge-deck VIP suite. The remaining four staterooms, of course, occupy the lower deck. Furthermore, the design studio penned a warm, welcoming, and somewhat traditional interior design. Buyers whose tastes meet the studio’s vision can take delivery the soonest. Even with more personalized touches, the yacht Project Agnetha can still fulfill summer cruising plans.
