If you haven’t heard of Magnolia Yachts, you’re likely not alone. It’s just six years old, and with one yacht under its belt. However, its roots go deep into commercial vessel construction. The family-run company expects the long-range Magnolia 41m yacht to raise its profile even further.

Magnolia Yachts arose from the Yardimci Shipping Group, which opened its doors in 1974. It has constructed and managed commercial ships ever since. Based in Istanbul, Turkey, Magnolia Yachts is run by Gökhan Yardimci, the fourth generation of his family in the shipbuilding business. The family believed it could be successful in custom-yacht construction, too, and therefore created Magnolia Yachts in 2019. Its first project, the 79-foot (24-meter) Magnolia One launched three years later. She features a mahogany hull and retro-trawler styling, along with a classic throwback interior.

The 135-foot (41-meter) Magnolia 41m yacht has a similarly intrepid spirit but much different construction and styling. Firstly, her hull is steel. Secondly, the styling is from Greg Marshall’s studio, with a sportier yet still-purposeful look. Tenders can stow aft on her bridge deck, alongside a dedicated crane, and her anticipated 5,000-nautical-mile range can take you to a wide variety of far-flung shores. These should especially appeal to a buyer, since the project is for sale, for delivery next year.

Creature comforts are equally appealing. A party of 10—with all four guest staterooms containing king-size beds—can dine alfresco on the bridge deck when the tenders are in the water. Another alfresco dining option is on the sundeck, ideal for lunches, since sunlounges and a hot tub are here, too. Perhaps most notable, however, the Magnolia Yachts Design Team has flipped the traditional open-plan main-deck layout. Instead of guests entering the saloon directly from the outside, they enter the dining area. Additionally, a bar is just forward of the dining table, keeping the area welcoming all day. Of course, clients can tailor the layout and the décor—with a suggested predominantly neutral backdrop and pops of nautical colors—to their liking.

On a related note, Magnolia Yachts anticipates creating a Magnolia 41m yacht series.
