Claiming 20 percent more leisure and entertainment space than other yachts in the 100-foot (30.5-meter) range, the first Majesty 100 Terrace yacht saw delivery the second week of July. The design is a departure for Majesty Yachts, but in keeping with giving yachting enthusiasts more of what they want.
Revealed to the public last September, the latest Majesty Yachts megayacht provides an abundance of outdoor areas. One particular spot is especially for owners. The main-deck master suite aboard the Majesty 100 Terrace yacht leads out to the model’s namesake. A mostly-covered lounge sits just beyond the glass wall, with a sliding-glass door, forward. No previous yacht or superyacht from the shipyard has had this feature. Whether owners are at anchor or underway, it’s a pleasingly private way to enjoy refreshing breezes and the views. The 270-degree views from inside the suite are appealing as well.
“Terrace” in “Majesty 100 Terrace” further refers to fold-down platforms and permanent veranda-like areas. Firstly, the main aft deck has folding bulwarks to each side. Wisely, for safety, railings rim them when they deploy. Secondly, an aft-facing sunpad perches above and extends just over the transom. It lends the feeling of floating above the water. Lastly, the transom fold down to reveal another seating/sunning area. Since it’s right at the water’s edge, it’s an inviting chill-out zone. It can be quite social, too, when friends and family are swimming nearby or using the folded-down transom to board watertoys.

Not to be forgotten, the sundeck received special attention from Majesty Yachts’ in-house design team. A sunbed sits prominently forward, for instance, nestling against a hot tub. Glass panels amid the decking bring light down into the owners’ terrace. Speaking of which, when owners want to join their family and friends up here, a stairway to port directly from the terrace does the trick.
The 199-gross-ton superyacht, with accommodations for 10 plus up to six crewmembers, will be at both the Cannes Yachting Festival and the Monaco Yacht Show this September.
