The month of May closed out with a special celebration at the Ferretti Group Superyacht Yard. Hull number one of the Custom Line Navetta 35 yacht series lowered into the water.
As is tradition, all of the craftspeople who brought the 113-footer (34.5-meter) to this point were on hand. They included not only the shipyard’s direct employees and management team, but also all the subcontractors and the designers. Of course, the owner’s representative and captain were there, too.

Expanding leisurely cruising options especially for owners seeking their first 100-foot-plus megayacht, the Custom Line Navetta 35 yacht has three decks of leisure areas. An overarching theme is making interiors look and feel virtually inseparable from the seascapes. Thanks to styling by Filippo Salvetti, full-height glass wraps around every deck. To eliminate even slightly interrupted views, no external stairway links the main aft deck to the upper deck. Among the more than 3,229 square feet (300 square meters) of interior and alfresco space, the owners and guests can keep large sliding doors open to create bigger, more flowing relaxation or party areas.
With accommodations for 10 in the full owner’s party, the Custom Line Navetta 35 yacht is a semi-custom superyacht. ACPV Architects and the builder offer mood packages for the interior, incorporating set colors yet entirely custom-made furnishings. The owner of the first Navetta 35 selected the Light Mood (below), featuring ivories, beiges, and caramels for a warm, tranquil setting. Soft, creamy-colored Pietra di Vicenza stone, for instance, is aboard. Pale wood lies underfoot, and sand-colored leather covers furnishings and creates details in various rooms. Every color reflects sunlight and shadows in different ways, too, for more visual interest. Antonio Citterio of the design studio worked closely with the owner to ensure the furnishings embrace organic shapes. Additionally, each freestanding piece lends the impression it’s floating, since nothing is flush to the floor.

While the Custom Line team prepares this project for delivery, it’s simultaneously working on three more contracts in different stages of design and construction.
