It’s day two of the Yacht & Brokerage Show, and I have a list as long as my arm of megayachts to tour and builders to visit. Yesterday was a good kickoff to the show, based on the conversations I had with many yard representatives. The docks were busier than anticipated, and a good, steady flow of expected and unexpected clients discussed contracts for new and brokerage yachts. It’s further proof that the megayacht market is generally unaffected by currency weakness or concerns over the economy.
I thought I’d give you a sneak peek at some of the new and brokerage megayachts on display. The video highlights the profiles of CRN‘s Emerald Star, Westport‘s Kaleen, Palmer Johnson‘s Dragon, and Royal Denship‘s new 80-footer ( a 50-knot yacht). It’s a variety of styles for a variety of tastes.
