The largest-ever megayacht from Ocean Alexander will hit the water this Friday in Washington State. She’s pictured just outside her build shed at Christensen Shipyards, which partnered with Ocean Alexander for the project.
The 120 is the first model in the new Ocean Alexander Megayacht Series. A trideck design by Evan Marshall, her LOA is 121’2” (about 37 meters), and her beam is 25’2” (about 7.6 meters). The on-deck master and four-guest-cabin layout below decks are among the highlights. So, too, are handy amenities such as a walk-in pantry and a dedicated luggage locker, especially for owners who wish to charter their yachts.
The twin MTU 12V 2000 M72 diesels have been detuned for longevity, particularly to allow the engines to remain at full speed on an ongoing basis.
The Ocean Alexander 120 will debut at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show in October.
