VesselVanguard introduced its megayacht-specific Platinum Level Service in 2013, observing that maintenance management, particularly paperwork and task reminders, could be streamlined. Due to customer demand and the company’s work with the U.S. military, the service has broadened. VesselVanguard Platinum Level Service also now offers real-time updates to key members of your staff.
VesselVanguard is a cloud-based service that manages tasks related to yacht upkeep, service, and inspection. Considering even 80-foot (24-meter) megayachts can have about 100 different systems onboard, VesselVanguard Platinum Level Service simplifies operations. Furthermore, it can be customized for you, your yacht manager, your captain, and/or your engineer. Unlimited users of your choice, in fact, can receive login names and passwords.
From day one, VesselVanguard Platinum Level Service has permitted upload of photos and documents related to yard work, insurance, berth rental, and more. It has also featured a calendar and related reminder function. The latter alerts designated users when a required service is due. Furthermore, everything has been searchable via keywords.
The VesselVanguard team has expanded these abilities to apply to tenders and toys. The service includes both primary tenders and rescue tenders, plus PWCs. Just as with your yacht, VesselVanguard Platinum Service can offer individualized tutorials to your designated users. (Even if your account has multiple users, VesselVanguard can customize security levels.) Also just as with your yacht, VesselVanguard follows up quarterly with your designated primary contact, a.k.a. your Customer Ambassador. This way, the service can be further customized and any problems can be addressed.
VesselVanguard Platinum Level Service is also now broadened to offer updates in real time. The company has been working with the U.S. Navy and commercial craft in this capacity. Don Hyde, the founder and CEO, felt it was only natural to extend the same abilities to yacht owners. The updates can come via email or text message. This complements the previously existing email or text alerts regarding Task Alerts. The latter are reminders based on hours or days between necessary service periods.
The annual cost for VesselVanguard Platinum Level Service: $600. Setup fees start at $2,000.
