She’s a few months from delivery, but you already get a good sense of what Project Orchid will be like when she’s situated in a private anchorage. The 298’5” (91-meter) megayacht launched at Lürssen late last month.
Reymond Langton Design penned her exterior lines and is overseeing the interior, too. Unfortunately, though, since the beginning of construction, the owner of Project Orchid has requested that the majority of details be kept confidential. Some quick facts that he has been comfortable with the build team sharing:
- Project Orchid bears a 47’1” (14.35-meter) beam
- she has fold-down balconies off some of the VIP guest staterooms
- there’s a beach club, plus a spa, onboard
- light tones for soft goods are used to boost the sense of space
- the keel for Project Orchid was laid 29 months before her launch.
